LIONS PRAYER
Where Lions meet be present Lord
Weld all our hearts in one accord,
To do thy will, Lord, make us strong
To aid the weak and right the wrong. -- Amen

CATHOLIC:
Bless us, 0 Lord, and these Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ our Lord. -- Amen.

JEWISH:
Lift your hands toward the sanctuary and bless the Lord. Blessed art Thou. 0 Lord our God, King of the universe, who bringest forth bread from the earth. -- Amen.

PROTESTANT:
Bless, 0 Lord, this food to our use, and us to Thy service and make us ever mindful of the needs of others, in Jesus’ name. -- Amen

NON--SECTARIAN:

Oh Heavenly Father, we thank thee for food and remember the hungry.
We thank thee for health and remember the sick.
We Thank thee for friends and remember the friendless.
We thank Thee for freedom and remember the enslaved.
May these remembrances stir us to service, that thy gift to us may be used for others. -- Amen

Lord, hear our voice. Grant us strength and courage as we seek to serve mankind: strengthen our foundation of international goodwill.
Continually remind us that we are here for the betterment of others, and, in so doing, sustain us in sincerity and purpose.
Help us all work to be successful in our obligations and in our responsibility to Lionism. -- Amen

Almighty and Eternal God, bless the Lions and guests assembled here this day.
Bless the food that we are about to receive and give us wisdom and understanding that we may uphold the principles of Lionism.
Help us to pursue with energy the Objects and Ethics of our Association.
Let us all maintain our simple purpose to serve people by giving our aid to those in need. -- Amen

LIONS CLUB PRAYER:
Almighty God, whose great commandment is that we shall love our neighbors as ourselves, and who has taught us that we should do to others as we would have them do to us, we ask that you bless the work of this Lions Club.
As our purpose is to help our fellowman and to provide all that is good in the life of the community, we pray that you will strengthen our hands in all our undertakings, and that our work and your spirit may bring goodwill to all men everywhere. -- Amen
