Dear Lions and Leos of District 33S,
I thank you for this tremendous opportunity to serve our great district and you as 1st Vice District Governor for 2009-2010. Lion Martin and I, and our children, Leo Michael and Cub Katherine, are truly looking forward to these next couple of years in Lionistic service.
Through our MERL team our district has made some huge strides in the past couple of years in extension, increased membership, and rebuilding of clubs. The MERL team is functioning well and I will work diligently making every effort to see that it continues to do so. Continuing on this winning course, District Governor Ray’s new initiatives in those and other areas has my full support and commitment.
With the fine working relationship and friendship that DG Ray, 2nd VDG Steve and I share, I feel certain that we will enjoy a successful year as a district. We are FOCUSed - Furthering Our Cause, United in Service. I look forward to visiting with your clubs and being of assistance to you as you endeavor to achieve your and all of our Lionistic goals.
